Track description
Exploring paths far and wide and equipped with much experience in organizing mountain competitions, we let ourselves be fascinated by the possibility of offering something new using centuries-old paths. The charm they emanate, the constructive intelligence and the imagination in the making possible passages in very inaccessible places as well as the stubbornness of the peoples who have been able to enhance every corner of these remote places, are the common thread of this race. Granite stairways, passages carved into the rock, votive chapels, shelters for cattles and men, all set perfectly with Nature like a diamond in a ring. A rough diamond whose thousand facets are waiting to be discovered by you.
Venue
The departure will take place from San Carlo, the last village in Bavona Valley. Despite being served by public transport, it is advisable to sleep in the area to be ready early in the morning. There are several parking possibilities in the valley. The race ends back in San Carlo, where you can eat and attend the award ceremony before leaving the venue. The finish area is also easily accessible to non-runners who would like to go up to assist their loved ones or watch the arrivals and cheer on the runners.
